Devoured Amanda Marrone No preview available – I’m actually a huge fan of fairy tails and such. Amazon Music Stream millions of songs. Luke is a great role with a cool gift and a perfect match for Megan.
I really loved this one! She just wasn’t very smart. There she meets Luke who also can see Remy. But marorne she takes a summer job at Land of Enchantment to keep an eye on her new boyfriend and his lovesick best friend, Samantha, she meets fellow employee Luke who can see Remy, too.
I agree with some of the reviewers that I think the book could have been a little longer in order to develop some of the characters further but considering that I kept reading even when I needed to get to sleep, I figure it is worth the cover price.
Jules is the youngest, and though her friends are too scared tell her what’s going on, something’s clearly not right.
I would not call this book a retelling of Snow White. Little Remy has been haunting Megan since she died ten years ago. Sep 29, Mimi Valentine rated it liked it Shelves: When she wakes, Luke, a painter at the park, is by Devoured is amand story about Megan who has been haunted by her seven year old sister, Remy, after a horrible accident ten year ago.
The Snow white twist added something new and unique into the plot of the story and I enjoyed that contrast.

When Megan’s boyfriend Ryan gets a job with his best friend Samantha to work at The Land of Enchantment a fairy tale themed amusement park ; Megan decides to get a job there too in order to keep on eye on Ryan and his supposed “friendship” with Samantha. I didnt feel connected to the characters. This book took me the longest to read because I was just not into the book at all.

With an intriguing premise, beautiful incorporation of Snow White and chilling elements, Marrone’s Devoured is a spooky fun marone. For such a short book, it actually had some pretty dark elements in it that I was totally not expecting.
Rising high school senior Megan has been haunted by her twin for ten years, but now Remy is trying to warn her about terrible danger surrounding Megan’s summer job at an amusement park called the Land of Enchantment. The characters were thinly developed, but some did manage to surprise me at the end. Amanda successfully avoided monster attacks by leaving all the lights akanda in her house, and convincing other family members to let the cats in—eventually earning a B.
The main character did nothing for me and the whole job at the amusement park was so boring and lame that I didnt want to continue reading, but being the devoted reader that I am I always try to finish a book even though I might not fully enjoy it just in case it gets better. And it ain’t pretty.
Marrone has a gift for portraying real teens in terrible circumstances; while the events of her novels are unreal, her characters are thoroughly grounded in reality. I would suggest it to read because it is in it’s own way interesting, but don’t get your hopes up for it being your fav. Once you get into it, the story moves along nicely though. It is the story of Megan who sees her twin sister’s ghost. Sparks fly between Megan and Luke. What’s a teen vampire slayer to do?
