Amazon Music Gracelint millones de canciones. She lives under the command of her Uncle Randa, King of the Middluns, and is expected to carry out his dirty work, punishing and torturing anyone who displeases him.
Though Cashore gives Graceling herself and Fire and Bitterblue redemptive and at least somewhat happy endings, I’m not left feeling uplifted. You can’t read about past torture. The pacing was steady throughout, but some scene changes and plot progressions seemed to jump forward when the plot would have been better served if they were expanded upon.

November 20, Editor: It was just so much ”I’ve just met you, yet I’d already die for you”. And gracrling of them, with a Grace that he hasn’t yet identified, holds a key to her heart. I’ll write the review I wish I’d read before buying this book and its sequels Fire and Bitterblue. One of my favorite fantasy novels. I did think it was weird, for how focused on characterization Cashore is in her writing, that we never got to meet the spies.
And Po, I loved Po! Its inevitable love story is sweetly unconventional and unabashedly feminist.
And Po, I loved Po! That is one thing Cashore did really well in this book: She never expects to learn a new truth about her own Grace—or about a terrible secret that lies hidden far away.
Something dark and deadly is rising in the north and creeping across the continent, and behind it all lurks the shadowy figure of a one-eyed king By the end of the novel, all the plots were tied up neatly and came together nicely.
She is a graceling, meaning that she is graced with special abilities like many other characters in this fantasy world. When Queen Bitterblue took the throne of Monsea, she was a child, and her advisers ran the kngdom for her. In the end, she decides that education and knowledge preservation are important, and then she founds the first royal institute of peace and reconciliation. And who was the extraordinary Graced fighter who challenged her fighting skills, for the first time, as she and the Council rushed the old man to saftey?
In a world where people born with an exceptional skill, known as a Grace, are feared and exploited, Katsa carries the burden of a skill even she despises: There was also a twist towards the end that I was not expecting!
These books contain characters who commit acts that are truly sick, depraved, and vicious. Highly recommend this read.
My very favourite scene in this whole book is when Bitterblue walks into the courthouse while Saf is on trial. But he’s not an Iago or Richard III — you’re not sitting there enjoying his plots and schemes for their complexity and audacity and his gift at making desacrgar complicit.
Tierra de libros: Reseña: Los siete reinos (Graceling, Fuego, Bitterblue)
In Fire, the politics were the story, and the plot became very dry and boring. Finding life under his rule increasingly descaegar, Katsa forms an underground Council whose purpose is to combat the destructive behaviour of the seven kings – after all, the Middluns is only one of the Seven Kingdoms, each of them ruled by their own king and his personal agenda for power.
If you lubro someone who finds it healing or redemptive to read of survivors, however, you might find that these books speak to you Leck’s a much more rescargar personal nightmare, and I would think some readers — especially sensitive readers and younger readers — would not thank Cashore for giving them that nightmare.
P A mi me han encantado los libros!!!

I could see it turning into something more in the future, but we readers won’t know what happens with Bitterblue’s possible suitors because the story was left open-ended with this matter.
