Most of all, I love the black and white high contrasts and the dramatic perspectives. The two stories take place on the same night, with the second taking place bullet after the first. There were no shades of grey, like in flashbacks.

Sep 11, Algernon rated it liked it Shelves: Nancy—who prior to this story had no last name—was named “Callahan”, a name shared with Clint Eastwood ‘s character. He also receives a package from Mary. I like the character of blue eyes, but other than that this was just a few short pieces. It was that last scene that did it for me. Marv is also there and greets Dwight. Simply opening the book and seeing the table of contents was enough for me to know that this book could very well be the worst of Miller’s Sin City publications so far, and that’s saying something.

One thing’s for sure: Short vignettes happening around the city. She shoots Dwight six times, including once in the head. She asks if he is married, and he says that he is not. It’s a shame because the series could have ended in the 4th book and be absolutely magnificent.
I’m glad that the film adaptation used a similar array of colors rather than just the yellow.
